Nerf guns, Creaky Cranky, and Building Blocks

Whenever my two children, Ava and Jackson, actually PLAY together instead of whine and fight, it always amazes me. Today has been extra amazing because they have played without fighting for hours now.

My daughter, Ava, is seven and usually thinks she is too big to play the games that Jackson, three, wants to play. Jackson is obsessed with all things trains, including, Thomas, Geotrax, and Chuggington. Today, Ava has actually been participating with Jackson's wild imagination! She is still a little bossy but usually her brother doesn't mind that much. Yet.

Right now, they are trying to do surgery on Creaky Crank, a Thomas crane, with some kid power tools. Of course, now Cranky needs a band-aid. What is it with kids and band-aids? Jackson actually calls his boo-boos "band-aids". If ever one kid actually does get hurt, the other thinks they NEED a band-aid. I honestly don't mind letting him have a band-aid. It's the little things that make him happy. :)

They have a blanket set out in the living room floor and they are having a picnic with the building blocks and some Frisbees.

Do your kids fight quite a bit?
